Tribute

Dr John was a truly remarkable doctor saving countless lives, helping so many people in their time of need. He always put his patients first, working long unpaid hours. Will be surely missed by thousands of his patients and medical staff he worked alongside throughout Australia and New Zealand. Dr Neil Forbes, Brisbane.

I’ll always remember the many outback fishing trips for barramundi we did together John. Some of the very best times in my life thanks to your company. Tight lines in your new fishing pond old friend. Fred.

These people were on short visits through some kind of cultural / religious exchange. Even at our very early age we had long discussions about these philosophies. I can recall Buddists in orange robes, Jehova witnesses and seventh day Adventists. I also recall John's long discussions with a Rabbi. I am sure those clerics had a profound effect on...
