Nell Elizabeth Day passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Tranquility Bay Care Whangarei on Saturday afternoon 4th May 2024. Much loved wife of Harold, loved mother of John, Colin, Ngaire, and many grandchildren. Born Nellie Whitehead in 1921 in Kaeo, Northland with five brothers Rob, Wil, Harley, David and Lynn, John and Rose parents, she was the last of her Whitehead family attaining a remarkable 103 years of age at time of passing.
